MATES WANT TO KNOW…
HOW WORKPLACES CAN BEST SUPPORT WORKERS’ WELLBEING
MATES would love an hour of your time to talk about wellbeing at work for our construction industry workers – that’s you! And we’ll thank you with a koha!
In collaboration with The University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington, and with funding from BRANZ, MATES is carrying out confidential 1-hour small group discussions (focus groups) via Teams with the construction industry to understand the key stressors, and what could improve wellbeing at work for our industry.
These discussions will help MATES to write a report highlighting the key stressors workers are facing, and the types of initiatives that companies can implement to mitigate these stressors and support workers’ wellbeing.
The discussions and reports are confidential, meaning that no personal or company names, or identifying information will be included.
This is a chance for your voice to shape wellbeing initiatives in the construction industry, in a relaxed environment with industry colleagues.
Please note: We have now completed boots on the ground focus groups. The final week of focus groups is for CEOs and Peak Bodies. We appreciate the incredible support that we’ve had from the construction industry and can’t wait to share the research with you all!
