Great excitement for MATES in Construction today as we had the pleasure of introducing the Minister for Building and Construction, Hon Poto Williams to the MATES Connector programme. The Minister was visiting the Auckland MBIE’s City Jobs and Skills Hub. The Jobs and Skills Hubs are one of six initiatives that make up this Construction Skills Action Plan (CSAP), to build the capacity and capability of the sector.
MATES has been fortunate to have worked closely with the Jobs and Skills Hubs since we started in NZ. This was a great afternoon where we met up with other agencies and construction employer stakeholders that all work collaboratively to support our industries future.
