“Hey mate you ok?” MATES posters will be around sites, in smoko rooms, offices, and around bathrooms for everyone to see. Check up on yourself and mates around you, all it takes is one question. 

City Mission General Awareness Training

The City Mission has been a project that has firmly embraced the MATES in Construction programme to ensure that their team on site have the tools, not only to physically build, but importantly to mentally build and support each other and connect to help.

It has been awesome working alongside Built Environs to integrate the programme onto site, and ensure it’s accessible to everyone in the projects whanau.

Field Officers Raman and Berhampore continued the journey as they delivered training to over 130 people last week. With such a big crowd we ensure there are plenty of the MATES team on site, James Victoria and Kevin were also present on site.

The project is very close to becoming MATES accredited, so watch this space as we are sure to be making an announcement very soon.
